After conducting several research and development projects, Ivo Cutelarias felt the need of creating a technology brand within the new paradigm of the Internet of Things, adding technological innovations to cutlery.

Their main project is smart knives, which is a solution for professional clients to track all their cutlery tools, enabling them to establish a link between the production and the recycling of the knife. This project was eligible for the Research and Development Incentive (R&D IS) programme within the Portugal 2020 incentive programme.

Envisioning the future, in recent years, Ivo Cutelarias has invested more than 3 million euros in technology that includes new solutions for consumers, an internal management platform, 3D laser cutting machinery -the first in Portugal-, robotic picking, among others.
